Picture Mary journeying right here to the site of the Visitation and her pondering how the one who created this beautiful hill country of Judea is dwelling within her womb! It was here in this hill country where Mary greeted Elizabeth, where the baby leaped in Elizabeth’s womb, and where Mary first prayed the Magnificat. In fact, at the church of the visitation built over this sacred site, they have the Magnificat translated in over 60 different languages! I love taking pilgrims here to pray the Magnificat at the very place where it was first spoken by Mary! Happy Feast of the Visitation!

Been there. Very moving. It was not an easy journey from Nazareth.
