How do you respond when you feel stretched: overwhelmed, in-over-your-head, drowning, not sure you’re up for the task? Jesus reminds us to turn to him. He can make up for our deficiencies, just as he did that day when he fed 5,000 with only five loaves of bread.

Speaking with Blessed Carlo Acutis’ mother (2nd photo) at the Philly Eucharistic Congress today! A blessing to have the mother of this young Blessed continue the mission of her son, calling Catholics around the world to greater love for Jesus in the Eucharist. In her talk, she said, “Carlo often said the Eucharist is the medicine of our souls. Carlo trusted in the Eucharist and believed that with God everything is possible.” Amen!!!! So thankful for this amazing conference, which packed the beautiful National Shrine of our Lady of Czestochowa. Thankful also to present for the first time on my newest book, ‘Behold the Lamb of God: 60 Questions & Answers on the Mystery of the Eucharist.’ Please pray that the talks draw souls closer to Jesus in the Eucharist—and please pray for Blessed Carlo’s mom, for her apostolate and for the 2,200+ Catholics who came for this extraordinary Eucharistic Congress in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia! ... I was there at The Shrine for the Eucharistic Congress today and it was an amazing Mass and conference. Your talk was very informative and excellent! Thank you for the copies of your new book we received.
So awesome that they opened (window to see inside) his coffin last June 2022 forever/ permanently. 👍 (I read this in the internet, CNA I think.)
Welcome back to Philly and Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, Doylestown, PA. Clearly you are a 'Philly Phavorite'. It was more than a few years ago that I first heard you speak in person at the National Catholic Bible Conference--and that led me to join your pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
Thank you, Dr. Sri. The Eucharistic Congress was so spectacular and your talk in particular. I feel like. New person!
I'm sorry I missed this but I'm grateful that this Conference took place. God bless you 🙏 ❤️

Amen!
Awesome. Would love to have been there

Beth and I are about to speak on marriage at the Diocese of Colorado Springs Marriage Forum evening. Beth is not regularly able to travel with me for speaking events like this, so it is a particular joy, to be able to give this talk with my beautiful bride tonight since this event is only one hour from home. We are speaking on our marriage book ‘The Good, the Messy and the Beautiful’. We often talk about how a couple’s love in marriage is meant to be on a journey, always growing deeper. Please pray for the many couples here tonight that they may take whatever next step in their marriage God is inviting them to! ... See MoreSee Less

So if I click on facebook I’l see and hear you Dr. Sri this is wonderful look forward to that event
I have the book and I have started reading and doing some of the things I have heard you say in your podcasts now. But my problem is I can sit silently and meditate with him and truly listen with him now. Is there anything you can tell me or I can do that would help me achieve this 30 day pray challenge 🙏 now?
Great book! Highly recommend!
Can't wait to check it out. Great to be with you yesterday in St. Louis!
Taking the course in study with workbook at Our Lady of the Valley right now. Enjoying it as I grow my faith/closeness with God through prayer and meditation.
Cant wait to read this
Every time I pray for certain things, I fight a battle that’s just too much sometimes!
I'm in need of this talk.
Edward Sri do you have a Kindle version out?
Our Bible Study group is loving this book!!❤️🙏
Amen🙏
. I often use The Two Great Commandments to analyze my difficulties with either Man or God. . So, the question becomes, if I am having problems with listening to God, how am I doing listening to my fellow Humans. . If I am listening to a person and in my head, I am already forming a response, I have already turned off my listening. I then ask, how have I stopped listening to God. .
Nous & Phronema are words used in this? Or are those Greek terms considered TOO Orthodox?
My study group is doing this right now 🙂
I am going to order this.
Thank you Dr Edward Sri!
Sweet

Visited our daughter Teresa for Parents Weekend at Benedictine College! So great to meet her friends and see her settling in to life at college. Also great to bump into the Abbot of the monastery there as well as many other old friends, colleagues, and former students from this school where I was blessed to teach for nine years. We miss Teresa much! But we’re thankful to know she’s at a place with a thriving Catholic community and surrounded by so many good people there. Please pray for her and all the students in their first year at BC! ... See MoreSee Less
Beautiful area.
Prayers💗
Four Corners Lisle, IL? We lived in Naperville swam in their pool in winter.
Prayers for Teresa to have a rewarding college career!🌺
If you haven’t already seen the new St Isadore’s chapel at K-State, it would be worth a visit next time you drive through KS. Benedictine is a wonderful place. I have looked at it but since I work for KSU and they have a vibrant Catholic community, my daughter attends there. It’s been a great experience for her. Glad we have these places in our state.
Teresa is in good hands... praying for her 1st year to be a good one.
such beautiful family.
