Great to visit with Ohio State students and missionaries at the Catholic campus center today! Spoke on meeting Jesus amid our struggles in prayer—drawing from my new book “When You Pray”. Thankful to meet so many young people who want to go deeper in their spiritual lives through true daily prayer! Please pray for them as the strive to live their Catholic faith on campus! Also grateful to present for the Advent mission at St Andrew’s and Immaculate Conception parish here in Columbus.

Happy St. Nicholas Day! Fun for the kids to get their shoes and stockings filled with chocolates and other small gifts in memory of St. Nicholas, the early Church bishop who gave generously to the poor. Our children also love the little break from Advent sacrifices for today’s feast! St. Nicholas, pray for us!

Beth and I went to a ball this weekend, supporting Bella Health & Wellness, a pro- life Catholic health clinic that has been targeted by the State of Colorado, banning them from offering progesterone to women who seek to continue their pregnancies after taking the first abortion pill. The Becket Fund filed a lawsuit against the State and as a result, Bella is, at least for now, protected from the enforcement of this culture of death law. Please pray for them, their battle for religious liberty, and their mission of caring for women and unborn babies!

This 22-foot statue of Jesus in the Rocky Mountains looks down on the city of Denver. I was blessed to have my own hermitage here for a few days on retreat in the mountains at the Mother Cabrini Shrine outside of Denver. Thankful to walk in the footsteps of this extraordinary missionary saint who resided here for a while. A great way to prepare for advent with a few days of silence and prayer. If you ever come to Colorado, make a pilgrimage here and do the Stations of the Cross which ascend to the mountain top where the Jesus statue is!

I used to come here all the time with my nana! Well. A few times at least. But I remember it well. Right before baptism, we came on a pilgrimage here and I learned to Israeli dance with some of the sisters of a nearby convent. The cross on the mountain, this and world youth day makes way for God to penetrate Coloradan hearts. ❤️🫶🏻

Beautiful! Is it open to everyone to visit? I live in Colorado Springs and would love to go there!

Spending time there is such a beautiful gift to ourselves. All four seasons, there is something uplifting to the soul.

Been there. Very spiritual place to visit.

My husband and son were there a few years ago and it was beautiful.
